Mission: METEOR provides talented high school students the opportunity to participate in an experiential research project at Children’s National Hospital and Children’s National Research Institute. This six week summer experience is designed to encourage students to take the required steps toward careers in STEM and biomedical research fields.
Candidates: Rising juniors with some science courses and have an interest in biological sciences.
Be able to work alongside a mentor and mentorship team to participate and/or develop their own research project which addresses conditions/diseases that adversely affect infants and children.
*Must either be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident
